I always like to have prep ingredients in the kitchen to make my life easier.

This simple trick will safe you a lots of time.

Every time to make smoothies faster and easier, stir-fry, soups, or just simply ginger tea I need ginger pure.

Not always I have it, plus peeling is not something that I want to do it.

About Ginger

According Dr. Axe, ginger has amazing healing properties.

Here are just a few of them:

  • Helps Treat Nausea and Morning Sickness

  • Fights Fungal Infections

  • Protects Against Stomach Ulcers

  • Can Help Regulate Blood Sugar and Fight Obesity

  • Relieves Joint and Muscle Pain

Here’s how to make a frozen ginger pure:

1. I buy at least 1 pound of fresh ginger root (preferably organic).

2. Scrape the skin off (this step is optional) and blend with 2 tablespoons raw honey (local, of course!). Adding lemon juice is also a great idea.

3. Scoop the puree into small freezer-safe containers and freeze until you’re ready to use.

4. Keep in a freezer for up to 6 months.

I find that 1 pound usually lasts my family for the month. I add it to other dishes, too, like stir fry.
