Help for Ukraine (VIDEO)

Updated: Jun 8, 2022

It is an uncertain time for my family and friends in Ukraine. Since February 24th I lost my peace as did the whole world. Every when I speak to my mom and sisters, I'm afraid it will be the last time. The other day, if my sister had been doing her regular routine, she would not be here with us now because that area was bombed. I can't imagine losing my mother and sisters in an instant, but this could possibly be my reality and this the building looks like the one next of her apartment complex.

It is with a heavy heart that I ask for your assistance. Help is needed in my home country Ukraine at this very moment! We are so blessed here in the U.S. for we only experience this war second hand by way of the news and social media for now. It is unbelievable to me that this could happen in the 21st century. People are being punished for their desire for freedom. This request to assist my fellow Ukrainians isn't just a request for them but I believe it will help in the security of the world.

My heart is hurting for you my home country and I feel almost guilty to be here safe and sound. I am blessed to have so many friends who have asked how they can help Ukraine. There has been such an outflowing of love from many people.

This war isn't just about the killing of soldiers and government groups, but civilians are being injured or killed. As of yesterday, six children have died and 45 were injured. These numbers will increase as this war progresses. Every minute someone is dying. The Russians are suffering with deaths as well for 10,000 of their soldiers have died. Every minute innocent people are dying. By time you are reading this post the number will be larger, and both sides of soldiers do not want this war.

As a mom, I have pain for every soldier that has died from both sides of this conflict. My children are very young, and I just can't imagine how these moms of fallen soldiers are handling their pain. Words are difficult to express the amount of anxiety and stress that fills my heart regarding my family and friend's safety.

I am very proud of my nation and how bravely they are protecting themselves along with their brave President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Even the civilians are showing their bravery and patriotism. The news reported that a number of civilians held hands and walked together in the street towards Russian tanks. The tanks stopped moving and the Russians surrendered.

Many of my friends have asked how they can assist in helping the people of Ukraine. There are many organizations are ready and willing to be of assistance by way of providing needs items. Here are my two American organizations that I have selected. It takes just a few clicks to donate, and I thank you from my heart for your contribution:

Or directly to Ukrainian organizations, here is how you can do it:

Blessings,

Inna
