Aioli! Aioli! Aioli!

Updated: Nov 2, 2020

Sometimes it’s all about the condiments, isn't it? I love simple sauces that are easy to make and fun to use for any sandwich or wrap you wish.

If you think aioli is a fancy sauce, I want to tell you that it’s not. It's simply dressed up regular mayonnaise. Aioli can upgrade any of your boring recipes, like plain grilled chicken, French fries, steamed vegetables etc. Kids like dipping their food in stuff. I often see how sauces will make kids eat something he/she would not have touched otherwise.

Making your own aioli is not only cheaper, it's also healthier. You don't add any harmful ingredients, plus you can even sneak some good stuff in.

The sky's the limit when it comes to flavor combinations. I always like to have one or two kinds on hand in my refrigerator. It makes it so easy when it's time to make a quick lunch. Here are three of my favorite kinds of aioli. Give them a try!

Garlic-Herb Aioli Ingredients

cup mayonnaise

2 tablespoons chopped herbs (parsley, mint, basil)

1-2 cloves garlic, finely chopped or grated

¼ teaspoon pink salt

Zest of one lemon

1-2 tablespoons lemon juice
